In the Czech Republic, Kalmar is exclusively represented by E.H.P., part of Kalmar Austria GmbH. This means we provide direct regional support as well as authorised distribution of the Baumann brand of sideloaders.
History of the Baumann brand
The brand was founded by brothers Wolfgang and Rolf Baumann at a factory in Cavaion by Lake Garda, Italy — launching straight in with the market's first sideloader.
The company exhibited at the Hannover Messe trade fair for the first time.
A 12-tonne capacity model was introduced.
The first sideloader over 20 tonnes followed.
The first electric models were introduced.
Expansion into the 40-tonne segment.
Baumann patented the Archimedes Outreach / VRS system — described as the biggest revolution in sideloaders in 50 years.
Electric machines make up more than half of production, and the company is expanding into robotic welding and solar energy.
